Wireless headphones offer the same sound quality as traditional headphonesThere is nothing quite like hearing your favorite music piped through a headset. Wireless headphones make it all the better. The next best thing, is watching someone listen to tunes via a wireless headset. It's like they are in another world. They are! Wireless headphones, issued in the way to carry unobstructed sound without the stationary restrictions of traditional headsets. From coaches wearing cordless headsets, to business people using Bluetooth enabled cell phone headsets with a build in microphone, the wireless headset movement has erupted. Even Bose has gotten in on the action producing their “Bose Headphones.” Wireless headsets: walking and talking The telephone industry got a head start with wireless headsets, so that people who were constantly tied to the phone could unplug. Platronics was one company that was taking the revolution seriously. It made sense. Multi-tasking while on the phone makes for increased productivity. Headsets make that possible. Without a cord, the phone now becomes a small extension of the person. The conversation can be walked. Noise cancelling microphones that are in most modern wireless headsets, make for not only a mobile conversation, but one that is clear and distinct. It is hard to get such quality even face to face. Most sets come in two different styles. One is the traditional over the head design and an ear foam pad genre. It is fairly comfortable and allows for comfort to the ear. A more modern version, is the over the ear style. This allows for more of a modern look and also creates less trauma to one's hair (yes, slightly dramatic). You can also choose the speaker to either be in your ear or outside of it. Again, personal comfort and choice. Computer headphones: creating new possibilities A PC wireless headset can be used to function on many different levels. From listening to music, to dictating into voice recognition software, to talking across the internet, the cordless headset serves many purposes. With the use of a USB headset, the potential can be increased and sped up. (USB removes many of the driver and set-up problems that occur from external devices.) A wireless headset, along with special software, allows you to operate your PC while cooking dinner. The possibilities are endless. Where the symphony comes alive Music is still the realm where cordless headphones come alive. Bose headphones once reigned supreme in this area. While they are still a major brand, headphones have been taken to new levels with wireless technology. The sound a headphone gives is intense. It allows you to get the closest you will ever be to the music. The only thing that could make it better is to make the sound wireless. Now it is. Convenience of portability Walking around an airport or a crowded place is now easier without the cord; no tangles, no worries about getting the headphones ripped off your head, and when dealing with a cell phone, no lost connections because the plug came out. From football coaches sporting the latest Motorola wireless headset technology, to the New York teen listening to an MP3 player with a wireless headset, wireless technology has made a huge dent on daily living. Trying to figure out which wireless solution is best suited for the situation gets a bit cumbersome. The choices are many and the marketing slant is angled hard to make the sale. One way to solve this problem is to read wireless headphone reviews. Then wade through technological discussions on Bluetooth wireless technology.
